"Allah loves the pious, discreet, and wealthy servant." The Companion Abdur-Rahman ibn Awf, when he established brotherhood between the Muhajireen and the Ansar, was offered a share of his wealth by Sa'd ibn al-Rabi'. He replied, "May Allah bless you in your wealth and your family. Show me the way to the market." Abdur-Rahman ibn Awf would enter the market with little money, yet upon leaving, Allah would bless his trade and profits, thanks to his shrewdness in buying and selling and his sound business management. This was due to his sound mentality. Free yourself from the mentality of displaying wealth, boasting, and living beyond your means amidst crises you cannot cope with, only to find yourself bankrupt by the middle of the month, waiting for your salary each month. Building true wealth begins with developing your mindset, building skills, and investing time and opportunities, not with merely projecting an image of success to others. When Allah Almighty commanded Mary, daughter of Imran, to shake the trunk of the palm tree and commanded Moses to strike the sea with his staff, He was certainly capable of performing the miracle without any of that. However, this serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of taking action and that striving and working are integral to the natural order of life.

The downfall doesn't begin with losing market share; it begins when leaders believe that failure is no longer an option.
